          My name is Franklyn A. Florence and I am a Musical Contractor based out of Severna Park Maryland. The following is a description of what my services as a Musical Contractor are.

          The first form of my services is live performance. I currently perform with a variety of local and semi national live musical acts playing a multitude of musical instruments such as; Latin percussion, Drums, Piano, Bass guitar, Acoustic guitar, Electric guitar, Vocals, etc, etc. The local bands and acts I perform with perform in local and semi national Nightclubs, Bars, Restaurants, Lounges, Concert halls, Convention centers, Festivals, Stadiums, Private gatherings, and all other musical venue forms having to do with live entertainment.

          The second form of my services is studio performance, audio production, and audio engineering. In this my services are as follows. As a studio performer I am a freelance musician for hire to assist in performing on a multitude of musical instruments for the purpose of recording the client’s musical ideas onto an audio/video format. As an Audio producer my service is to assist, oversee, and advise clients in the creation and development of their musical ideas as they pertain to either recorded sound or live productions or applications.

          As an audio engineer my services are basically the same as listed under audio production, but the difference is that I have the facility to record, mix, and duplicate the client’s musical ideas onto an audio format such as CD or ADAT tape. I am also capable of Engineering or co- engineering recording projects for clients in other recording facilities at their request. This includes live performance recording, on-site recording, and studio performance recording.

          The third form of my services is in musical and business education. In which I give private instruction to clients/students in a multitude of musical instruments such as, Drums, Percussion, Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Voice. This aspect of my instruction includes music theory, musicianship, ear training, instrument maintenance and repair, improvisational skills, and all other aspects of the musical creation process as it pertains to the client. My instruction in the business aspect of music is to instruct the client in proper advertising, use of products, booking show appearances, accounting, and organizational skills as they pertain to the clients needs.

          The final aspect of my services as a Music Contractor is in the writing, and arranging of sheet music and lyrics. Writing lyrics for client’s musical ideas or charts as well as scoring sheet music from the client’s musical ideas for the purpose of the client and any other musician for hire the client may use for future performance or recording projects.

          In concluding all of the services listed are performed on a weekly basis. I have a growing database of clients and I am available upon request.
