The bio.

          My name is Frank Florence and I am currently residing as a freelance Musician/Singer songwriter/percussionist something or other here in Baltimore, MD. Surprisingly enough I’m often seen playing around with power tools, household appliances, and other things that most people are afraid to talk about.

          My influences as a musician are pretty simple. Sex,  rock`n`roll, and the pursuit of the eternal high that every musician gets from performing live. I guess you could say that my real influences are every performer that I see and hear because my musical style is never a constant. I believe that limiting the potential of one’s style is what Prohibits the full development of a creative mind. I feel that this philosophy keeps me always striving to turn left when everyone else is turning right. Musically speaking that is. This intern makes my list of musical role models as vast as the universe because every musician inspires me in one way or another.

          Now as far as my musical experience is concerned I’m not going to bore you with a long list of bands that you have probably not heard of anyway. I’ll just say that with all of the instruments that I play, and the places that I have played them is real long. Real long! But for now I as I said before I currently reside as a singer songwriter here in and around the Baltimore, Annapolis area. I’m often seen playing Latin percussion with another talented musician in and around the Fells Point and Canton regions of Baltimore City.           On to the CD I have just released my first solo CD Entitled Carpe Diem. I’m not going to go into the whole spiel of how awesome I think it is other than to say that everyone here who has heard it has liked it. But I will let you be the judge on whether or not you like it or not.

          Anyway I guess for now I should just shut up for a bit and let you do your business for a while. Enjoy the CD and I hope to hear from you soon.
